Who will be in your team?
You won’t just be joining the Compliance Team, you’ll also be part of the wider Assurance Team! Here’s an overview of the team:
Compliance - Hannah Powles
Assurance - Amardeep Purewal, Charlotte Weir, Robert Irving, Scarlett Bell
The teams are then headed up by Regan Naughton and Lisa Dudley respectively.
The Role
You’ll be part of our small Compliance team, working closely with Senior Management to help make sure the business has practical, well designed controls and processes in place.
This includes:
Identifying, managing and keeping an eye on regulatory and conduct risks across the business.
Making sure we meet regulatory requirements and standards, both in day-to-day activity and when we’re delivering change.
Supporting the business in consistently delivering good customer outcomes.
What we are looking for in you...
Someone who takes ownership of their personal development and helps build a culture of learning and continuous improvement across Compliance and the wider business.
A proactive, confident approach, with strong problem solving skills and the ability to make practical, balanced decisions.
A genuine commitment to our vision and values, and a drive to support our wider mission and objectives.
A solid understanding (or willingness to build a strong understanding) of the regulatory requirements that apply to First Response Finance Ltd, including Consumer Duty, CONC, GDPR and AML, with the enthusiasm to share that knowledge across the business.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence others and build collaboration across teams.
Confidence working with data and statistics to support decision making, along with good numeracy skills.
Openness to feedback, both positive and constructive, and the motivation to act on it.
The ability to handle conflict in a constructive, objective way, with strong influencing and negotiation skills.

This is an opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge/ to expand their knowledge of FRFL, our business, and the type of skills we require moving forward.
