Onboarding Coordinator
We are recruiting for an Onboarding Coordinator to join the Onboarding & Risk Team.

Who are Onboarding and Risk?
Onboarding and Risk are an essential part of First Response Finance’s 1st line of defense against fraud, poor customer outcomes and company financial detriment.
The purpose of the Onboarding team is to investigate any potential new distributors (Dealers & Brokers), as well as continually monitoring them to make sure they act, and continue to act how we would expect, but also within FCA regulations, for example, the Consumer Duty.
We look to mitigate the above risks through:
- Upfront Investigations
- Good quality Telephone conversation
- Pro-active monitoring of 3rd party information

So what are we looking for in you?
- We would expect you to pay great attention to detail, you will be looking for accuracy and potential inconsistencies within legal documentation.
- You will be checking and cross-referencing multiple documents so you will need to be organised and logical.
- You will be speaking to your team members, the wider business, and our distributors daily, so the ability to build rapport, communicate clearly and express yourself effectively are essential requirements.
- Multi-tasking and task changing are a regular throughout this role.
- You will need to be able to prioritise as you may be working multiple setups at one given time. An ability to finish to a high standard is paramount.
- You will need to be able to bring together multiple sources of information, evaluate them with sound reasoning to consistently make the right decisions.
- Challenging is a constant within this role, you will be challenging the thinking of distributors, your team and yourself daily. No process is set in stone, and we expect any member of the team to be part of the conversations on how we shape our processes for the future.
- Due to their being multiple roles within our team, we have a cross discipline culture, so a team player attitude is a given. What this creates is an opportunity to complete work outside of the ‘usual’ day job, and therefore the worklist is varied and somewhat unpredictable. You will be expected to help your team members out depending where the demand is at any given time.
This Opportunity
We are currently wanting people to register their interest for this position, and once you have done this, we will be in touch with the next steps of the process.
If you are interested, you can be located at any of our sites, however it is important to point out that there will be an expectation for you to travel to the Nottingham Office when required.
If you want to understand more about the role, or have any questions please speak to Pete Lillie.
