Business Analyst
About the Role
In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and the engineering team to deliver high quality software solutions that meet a defined business need. This role is key to “bridging the gap” between our operational and engineering teams improving communication, relationships and ensuring our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Working with stakeholders and business users to define root causes of business problems and help shape the business objectives and scope for change.
• Business analysis and requirements gathering for technology projects. Working with stakeholders and business users to elicit, analyse, develop, refine, communicate, and document requirements for change.
• Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories with acceptance criteria within a PBI.
• Support stakeholders in defining requirements and work inside the engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Represent the customer within the delivery teams throughout the project.
• Ensure business value is present within all work conducted with clear measurement for success.
• Provide analysis in the definition and validation of technical solutions.
• Working with the engineering team to define acceptance criteria and plan testing.
• Continuously look to improve communication and relationships between stakeholders and the engineering teams.
• Product Owner and CTO are clear on status of delivery.
• Team members see you as a ‘go to’ person for support.
• Be a contributor to the creation of best practices.
• Coordinate &/or support UAT with business users
KPIs & Deliverables
Ensure the output from the team solves for the problem intended and can be
measured.
• Success of change is measured and presented back to the project team.
• You’ve been part of the design process and feel ownership of change.
• The solution is monitored and maintained.
• Technical configuration of key software applications. (Implementing technical
change through configuration where applicable to skill set)
Qualifications
Any associated BA certification would be advantageous.
Around 4 or 5 years of industry experience in a product team delivering software.
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of the development life cycle.
• Technical documentation e.g. Process modelling, workflows, diagrams
• Understanding APIs, data flows, system integrations.
• Data Mapping

• Ability to work with other software applications e.g. Hotjar, Tag Manager etc
