Early Careers
Our Early Careers Team design and deliver innovative early careers programmes, inclusive of apprenticeships, work experience, graduate schemes and much more.
The aim of this role is to design programmes that develop the future of our organisation in all areas, from identifying and developing leadership potential, to designing programmes that will develop the next generation of tech talent. This role is also responsible for mentoring and embedding this into our culture.
Key skills in this role is the ability to think ahead, see the bigger picture and understand not only the impact for First Response, but also the wider community. The ability to network nationally as well as communicate effectively with senior stakeholders is advantageous.
Recruitment
Our Recruitment Team are responsible for identifying, assessing, inducting and onboarding all new employees into the business. They will be the first people you will meet on your journey with us and hopefully give you a good first impression of First Response and who your colleagues might be.
Their role is to ensure the business has the best talent to drive the business forward for long term success, whilst at the same time having a focus on candidate journey at the forefront.
For this role you must be a people person as you will be the first person anyone meets or interacts with from the business. This role needs organisation, professionalism, the ability to think on your feet and a keen eye for great talent.
People Development
Our belief as a business is that people are at the heart of it. People developments role is to ensure that everyone has access to the right development at the right time for them. This could include coaching, support with performance, training, facilitation, leadership development and much more. All of our development is tailored to the needs of the business and the needs of our people, meaning this role is very varied.
Some key skills in this role are listening, development and facilitation of learning, coaching, and working with senior stakeholders. You will need to be able to spin many plates in this role as development is not a one size fits all.
Digital Learning
Digital Learning are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our online learning resources. This roles ensures we have the right technology in place to facilitate online and face to face learning, as well as creating, delivering and monitoring our regulatory training material.
For this role you will need to be able to create engaging online material, report on learning statistics and implement feedback for improvement from the business. Being able to condense vast quantities of information into bite size, informative learning modules without sacrificing quality or detail is also key.
